Our blogging begins…More on right of page…

October 17, 2011

Hello Everyone!  We are excited to add a blog to our website so we can hear from you!  We are having great fun at the campground and are meeting such wonderful people!  We have had folks visit from all over the world including; the UK, France, Germany, Holland, British Virgin Islands (to name a few) as well as most states in our nation and just about all of the Canadian Provinces!  It has been truly amazing hearing about their adventures.  We enjoy helping our guests with their travels during their stay in the White Mountains.  There is so much to see and do; We thought it would be great to see if we could get your help to ensure other guests enjoy all of our hidden treasures in this most beautiful part of the world!  There is so much to see; covered bridges, waterfalls, wonderful hikes for all hiking abilities.  So please post your comments, pictures, videos, whatever you think will help others view the beauty of this area.

We will also be posting updates to help you with your travel plans as well as more about the campground; now that we are wrapping up our second season we will be working this winter to bring more exciting updates and changes to help make Timberland the place where you want to come time and time again!

And of course, post your comments abour your stay with us; we need to hear what you like, what you don’t like, what you would like to see etc. that is the only way we will learn and get better!

Thank you for your help and Happy Travels!

Dave & Laurie

  1. WE are thinking of cooming Memorial weekend, we have 17′ ft camper, do not need to drive through, but would like a little privacy, and hopefully a wooded site. We have family in Bethel and thought this would be a great place to stay but be near by.
Can you recommend a site? Thanks for any input,Pat

    • Hi Pat, I thought I responded to your email the other day , but I am not seeing it, so I just wanted to reach out to you again. We have some great sites available and yes we are just a short drive to/from Bethel. If you would like to reserve a site please call me at 603-466-3872. Thanks!

Great place! Amazing service! My husband and 5 friends did a motorcycle trip. The owners were wonderful and accommodating. They also were very helpful in navigating the area. Thanks so much!

Timberland is a great place. Nice wooded sites, the facilities are nice with clean washrooms and large shower areas.
But we must say that the best part of Timberland are the owners.
Dave and Laurie are great people. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and its many attractions. We have already booked for our third year in 2013.
Thank you from the Clark Family, New Brunswick, Canada

We stopped for a night on our way from Maine to USA/Canada border with our “new to us” camper van…and stayed a week! Clean facilities, strong wifi, many quiet secluded sites to choose from, close to Appalachian Trail and many other adventure opportunities…great campground to start to our travels from. We loved the excellent service and caring attitudes of Dave and Laurie. We’d recommend Timberland to anyone wanting a quiet, private campground. This place is a ‘jewel’…

  8. It was by fluke that I met Dave and Laurie. Our Buddy’s bike broke down and as we were out of cell service we went looking for a phone. Dave and Laurie came to the rescue, not just with the use of their phone but they also recommended a friend of theirs as a good bike mechanic who drove out to pick up our buddies bike with a trailer and drove it back to his shop fixed it the next day when the parts came in. Our encounter with Dave anLaurierestored my faith. They are great people with a great camp site and just as honest and helpful as you could ever ask for. We cant thank you both enough!
    Cheers,
